What a great bunch of lads again….pots of PB’s caught and happy carpers. . nice weather and warming water bought a steady stream of fish to the lodge bank again…. pop ups scoring well this year in most colours… just lately red again doing well ….i recon dark / black ones might be worth a go for the coming weeks….. NOT MUCH CELL has gone in this week and it was noticable the fish took a few days to find the new baits….and as i write this mid week 9 the lads using CELL ARE DOING BEST !…… A few…

Rain Rain Rain. Again….with a Hint of sunshine this time.. Finally some warmth in the air and it helped massively as well as some good angling as the lake produced 150 carp with an average of 37lb. An amazing 48 FORTIES were banked and one of our treasures was landed Petals at 64lb 8oz i think the very next bait she picked up had a hook in it because 3 days later she came out again at the same weight one swim up..5550lb of carp were banked…..a variety of baits produced the bites and red pop ups again scoring for…

We still have no let up in the weather rain rain rain,…everywhere is flooded locally in our valley peoples cellars and our paths too,let alone the lake holding 6 inches more water than i can get rid of… 2 lucky punters managed to turn up in trainers for the week and probably went home with trench foot.THE CARP have been off the feed with 39 fish landed for the week. NIAGARA and the top end shallow swims were fishing well ,back of the wind also seemed to hold a few biting resident fish.RENAMED centre of the lake fished well though…

VETERANS WEEK:Weather could not have been any worse,rain rain interspersed with hailstones and biting wind.however regulars Darren Warbey fishing from niagara that he knows better than the back of his hand stuck to his regular spots toland the biggest fish of the week of 53lb11oz “theOrange” 2x30s and a 41.03 mirror,whilst in Dogs at the other end of cherpont fishing on the back of the wind Lionel Coulson banked 16 fish to 45lbs with 15 of these being 30+.Swamp and UFO also produced a steady flow of fish up to mid-30s to Mark and Nick with nick catching the best…

1st week in april

Catch report for 1st week in April… We had 9 anglers on this week 4 English 4 Dutch and Diego from belgium. Temperatures have been very warm up till now and with slightly lower temperatures as per norm for this time of year the fish have responded well. With over 70 fish landed and 55 of them being over 30 lb all the anglers have had lovely week. Regulars Simon Croaker and Sam Pearce enjoyed there first French trip of the year, Simon taking fish to 42lb and Sam landed a fabulous 52lb PB. Mirror towards the end of the…

CATCH REPORT – WEEK 26 TOTAL FISH CAUGHT: 89 35lb to 40lb: 18 40lb to 45lb: 4 45lb+: 6 TOTAL FISH WEIGHT: 2817.08lbs AVERAGE FISH WEIGHT: 31.65lbs BEST MIRROR: 50.08lbs BEST COMMON: 37lbs Continuing with the fantastic warm weather down in the Limousin Region, the fishing stayed quite consistent. Eighty Nine fish total was achieved by this week’s group, with the largest fish Lumpy at 50.08lbs, falling to 18 year old Kieran, fishing with dad Lee and friends, Cherpont regulars – Ricky, Chris and Dan, caught on the ever popular “Cell” out of “Sleepy Hollow”. Other notable catches were regular…
