Do you need a UK fishing license to fish in France

Fishing in France requires some preparation—you need a licence or permit to reel in the big ones. If you plan on fishing at private fisheries, make sure to get permission from the landowner first!

How much is a French fishing permit

France is a fishing paradise, and with just a quick visit to the local sporting goods store or tourism office you can gain access for as little as ten euros for a fishing permit but as we are a privately owned lake a permit is not required.
