Booking Terms & Conditions

This agreement to provide holidays and transport to and from your destination is made between you, the customer and members of your party (if any) and the suppliers of your holiday, SAS Cherpont.

BALANCE OF PAYMENT: The balance due to Cherpont must be paid in full at least 14 weeks before departure. If the balance due is not received 14 weeks before travel date, Cherpont reserve the right to cancel your booking.

CANCELLATION: If you cancel your holiday you may be liable for a cancellation fee based on the following:

a. Cancellation 10 weeks or more before travel date: deposit only.

b. Cancellation 6 – 10 weeks before travel date: 50% of cost.

c. Cancellation less than 6 weeks before travel date: full cost of holiday.

d. Any changes made to booking after receiving deposit there will be a £50 administration charge.

COMPLAINTS: In the unlikely event that you or a member of your party has a complaint, please advise the owners. Any complaint must be noted in writing within 7 days of your return, by recorded delivery letter to Cherpont, at the above address. On receipt we will endeavour to resolve it.

DEPOSIT: The completed booking form along with a deposit of £100.00 per person should be returned to Cherpont within 10 days of booking date agreement.

PASSPORT: It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of a valid passport.

PRICE: The price of your holiday is guaranteed free of price increase and surcharge.

RESERVATION OF HOLIDAY: Your holiday will be reserved when we receive your completed booking form and deposit. All bookings and departure dates are confirmed to the person signing the booking form either by telephone or email.

THE LAW: Signature on a booking form constitutes acceptance of the contract between you and SAS Cherpont and is accepted by both parties to be subject to the law.

UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR: We reserve the right to cease providing any service to you or any member of your party if we, our staff, transport agents or any other responsible authority in any place, on any vehicle consider your behaviour likely to cause any harm to other persons or damage to property or you do not abide by the rules laid down or reasonable request from our staff or agents. We reserve similar rights should you or any member of your party prevent our carriers from travelling. In such a case our contractual obligations to you will cease immediately and you will be liable for any civil actions, we or our staff may take against you, your booking with us will be treated as having been cancelled by you and you will be liable for cancellation fees as outlined in paragraph 3 above.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE: The person signing the booking form is assumed to have full authority of all the people named on the completed booking form and is therefore deemed as the person solely responsible by SAS Cherpont for the booking.  The person signing the booking form should have read and accepted these terms and conditions. The person signing the booking form is liable for ALL costs and charges on behalf of the party.

FORCE MAJEURE: We will not be liable for any loss, delay or cancellation resulting from any of the following; WAR, RIOTS, ACTS OF GOD, POLITICAL UNREST, THREAT Of WAR OR TERRORISM, INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES, FIRE, STORM, FLOOD, CLOSURE OF PORTS, WEATHER CONDITIONS ,TRAFFIC CONGESTION, or any other event or circumstances beyond our control.
